General Experience

Mr. Beall has served as Vice President at SAI since joining the firm in 1986. He has been in charge of, or involved in, the design of most of the firm's major projects. Mr. Beall's extensive experience covers a wide range of structural design and analysis including medical facilities, locks and dams, bridges, seismic isolation analysis and high rise. In addition to his administrative, project management, and design duties, Mr. Beall manages SAI's computer network and is instrumental in the training of our engineers.

Upon graduation from Louisiana State University, he was employed as a structural field representative for a large treatment plant constructed by the City of New Orleans. Later Mr. Beall joined the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) as a bridge designer. During this period, he designed several unique and notable structures, including the longest bridge designed at that time using TDOT's jointless bridge techniques. Mr. Beall also worked at Stanley D.
